Daniel Cox is the Operations Manager at Federal Title & Escrow Company, where he plays a central role in overseeing day-to-day operational workflows and ensuring that transactions move efficiently from opening through post-closing. Dan thrives in the fast-paced settlement environment and enjoys the fact that each day presents new challenges that require thoughtful problem-solving, adaptability, and attention to detail.

Dan joined Federal Title in 2020, initially as a Post-Closing Assistant. He brought with him a strong background in the hospitality industry, where he developed a high level of customer service, organization, and responsiveness. When the COVID-19 pandemic reshaped the workforce, Dan made a strategic career transition into the housing and title insurance industry—an environment that matched his preference for dynamic, deadline-driven work. Since joining Federal Title, he has steadily expanded his responsibilities and grown into a key operational leader within the company.

Through his progression at Federal Title, Dan has developed a comprehensive understanding of settlement operations, internal processes, and interdepartmental coordination. His ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and consistency makes him a trusted internal resource and an important contributor to the firm’s operational success.

Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Media Production Track from Salisbury University. He grew up in Damascus, Maryland, and continues to enjoy staying active and exploring new places. Outside of the office, Dan enjoys golfing and traveling to Deep Creek Lake whenever possible. He is also an avid fan of the Washington Commanders and the Washington Nationals.
