Luke Bacigalupo is a Settlement Attorney and the Chief Operating Officer of Federal Title & Escrow Company, where he oversees firm-wide operations while maintaining an active settlement practice. Luke began his career with Federal Title in 2016 and has progressed through multiple roles within the company, giving him comprehensive, hands-on expertise in every phase of the real estate settlement process—from title examination and curative work to underwriting, escrow management, post-closing, and compliance.

Over the course of his career, Luke has personally handled and supervised thousands of residential and commercial real estate transactions throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. He is deeply knowledgeable in title law and title insurance matters and is well versed in DC/MD/VA contract law, allowing him to efficiently navigate complex transactions, resolve title defects, and guide clients through high-stakes closings with precision and confidence. His broad transactional experience and operational insight make him a trusted resource for agents, lenders, attorneys, and clients alike.

Luke grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, and comes from a family with deep roots in the DMV real estate industry dating back to the 1970s. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Syracuse University and his Juris Doctor from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. Known for his professionalism, integrity, and practical approach, Luke has built a reputation as a reliable and trustworthy attorney who prioritizes accuracy, transparency, and client service.
